Birds In Cages
"Birds in Cages" is a moving story of friendship and resilience. Dechen and Pema face hardship, with Pema forced into marriage and Dechen trapped in an unhappy union. One single thread weaves the story of the past and present lives of two people. Two people born on the opposite sides of the world, destined to meet, and realize karmic conditions and their consequences. On the surface, it is a typical boy-meets-girl theme, but only on the surface.


Living Script

"Living Script" written, directed, and narrated by Karma Deki, follows a Bhutanese scriptwriter in Queens, New York. Overcoming societal norms, she weaves four narratives reflecting her growth, culminating in the film's release after five years. It celebrates resilience and self-discovery, showcasing the transformative power of storytelling beyond boundaries.


Kushuthara: Wedding Dress

"Kushuthara: Wedding Dress" narrates the poignant love story of Meto Lhazey and Phuntsho Wangdi in Khomo, Luntshe. After their separation and Meto's tragic death, Phuntsho's life becomes haunted by a wedding dress, the Kushuthara, woven by Meto. Driven by guilt and longing for closure, Phuntsho seeks redemption by unraveling their story, exploring themes of love, loss, and the supernatural amidst the picturesque village backdrop.
